Ruby Forgit has been a member of Millenium Magic Chorus since July 2013. She is thrilled to be a member of this incredibly talented and versatile chorus and is looking forward to many years to come. Ruby has an extensive background and involvement with choral and theatrical endeavors. She was a member of the Worcester State University Chorale during her undergraduate years at the University from 2006-2011.
She traveled to Greece, Portugal and Germany with the WSU Chorale and has enjoyed singing in many historical and notable locations and venues. During high school Ruby was a member of the Tantasqua Regional High School Show Choir and Vocal Jazz ensembles, where she performed in regional and local competitions around the Sturbridge/Central Massachusetts areas.
Ruby also loves the theatre and has been performing on stage since the age of 3. Her first musical theatre experience was at age 12 playing the role of Adelaide in Guys and Dolls at Marsh Junior High School in Chico CA. She continued, playing Eponine in Les Miserables and Ruth in Gilbert & Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance. Some of her most recent theatrical roles include Lenny in Crimes of the Heart, Grace in William Inge's Bus Stop, and Elmire in Moliere's Tartuffe. Ruby is a Corporate Marketing Communications specialist at MAPFRE Insurance in Webster MA. She holds a degree in Public Communication from WSU and is a 3 time Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival nominee from her performances with the Visual and Performing Arts Department. Ruby enjoys swimming, riding her bicycle, and sunshine. She has 3 cats named Hurley, Desmond and Wally and loves them dearly.
