I have been singing baritone with Millennium Magic since 2022. Prior to singing with MM I sang lead/baritone with Saratoga Soundtrack Chorus in Region 15 beginning in 2013. My love for singing barbershop came shortly after meeting my husband when he invited me to his chorus annual show. He was hesitant to invite me because he thought it might be too “corny” and I might not enjoy the performance. On that particular show the recent gold medal men’s quartet Platinum performed and once they started singing I was hooked and of course my husband also sounded great.

I retired in 2021 after a 35-year career in teaching. I taught grades 7-12 instrumental music and was the director of fine arts. I was most proud of the ensembles I directed over the years included concert bands, jazz bands, marching bands and even an afterschool barbershop ensemble.

I am so happy to be singing with Millennium Magic because everyone wants to pursue a high level of performance. This pursuit really challenges me and helps grow as a singer and a performer. I also love all the love and support we give each other.
